By Terry is a brand I discovered very recently and I have only tried a couple of their products but I have to say so far I have been extremely impressed by every single one. For a long time I had heard so many Youtubers talk about their products but unfortunately the seriously hefty price tag always stopped me from purchasing them, as I wasn’t sure if I wanted to splurge so much money on something I wasn’t sure I would even like.
Their products tend not be anything revolutionary or that other brands don’t have, however after having tried them I can say their quality is incredible and in most cases nothing like what other brands have to offer, so I can say that so far the price tag is somewhat justified.
The first product I tried from this brand was a highlighting powder, very similar to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, but better! It is their Imperlious Voile de Pearle, and although its meant to be a highlighter I actually use it as a setting powder. I did a full blogpost on this item which I will link here.

My posts about hair care seem to be a bit of a favourite on here so I thought I would tell you about my latest product discovery. I recently ran out of my keratin Kerastasse masque and thought I would try a new product instead. As you probably know if you have been following this blog for a while, whenever I wash my hair I like to apply a mask instead of conditioner as I feel it leaves my hair feeling a lot more nourished and hydrated, and having coloured hair I definitely need the extra moisture!
I had heard great things about Living Proof products but had never actually tried any, so when I walked into Space NK (my idea of paradise!) and I saw they had a restorative mask, which claimed to nourish and condition hair to help regain strength, body and shine I had to give it a go and I have to say I have absolutely loved it!
The mask does exactly what it describes and leaves your hair feeling deeply hydrated and silky smooth but without weighing it down. The mask feels quite thick almost like a creamy balm and although I applied a generous amount on mid lengths and ends, when I blow dried my hair it didn’t look oily or flat and actually had a great amount of bounce and body. My hair also looked incredibly shiny and when I touched it it had silky feeling which I hadn’t experienced for a very long time! I could literally run my fingers through it and it was super easy to detangle after washing it, which was a huge bonus because my hair is usually very knotty.
The mask uses revolutionary technology whereby a moisture controlling molecule ‘PolyfluoroEster’ restores the damaged protective layer in dry and damaged hair, smoothing out the cuticle. I am of course not sure how much this mask actually repaired my hair but it definitely left it feeling really smooth, with visibly less split ends and a super glossy finish.
I use the mask once a week after shampooing and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes and then rinse it off, but if you want a more intensive treatment you could definitely leave it over night.
I hope you give this one a go, it is definitely a great mask specially if you have coloured hair!

Today I have for you a makeup tutorial perfect for the winter season but also for any upcoming parties or events you have in the lead up to Christmas. It is quite a glam look but I think its easy to tone down if you want to wear it during the day and its also perfect for all skin tones. I love the burgundy berry lips paired with the smokey eye for evening event, I think its very sexy but at the same time can look quite sophisticated if paired with dewy skin . Im using a mix of drugstore and high-end products so there is something for everyone! I hope you enjoy this look and if you do please don’t forget to subscribe to my channel.

Lately I have been loving a dewy look on my face and I don’t know if its because days have become so dark and miserable or because my skin itself has become more dull given the lack of sunlight and that I have been unwell for quite a while and its all starting to show; but whatever the reason may be my setting powders have just not been doing it for me over the last month!
I have always been a fan of matte looking skin and I always thought this suited me better, given my natural skin type if quite oily and I was always petrified I would start looking like a disco ball in the middle of the day if I didn’t set my foundation properly. However, over the past few weeks whenever I did my makeup I always felt it looked much better before I applied setting powder. I had recently started to bake my makeup (If you don’t know what baking is, I have linked a video tutorial I did a few weeks ago below), this definitely made it last longer and look brighter but the areas in which I baked looked very very matte, which meant that after I set the rest of my face my look was just too cakey and flat and, frankly my skin looked like I had a mask on – not a good look!
