APRIL Favourites and Unfavorites

I am back with a monthly favourites and in this one, to add into the mix also has a couple of disappointing products in there. With Spring on our doorsteps a lot of brands have been launching their new collections and I was very excited to try out a few of them, especially when it came to lip products, however after trying a few of these at the counters themselves I was quite disappointed to find they really weren’t anything like I was expecting them to be. So I thought I would share my thoughts with you, just so you can avoid spending money on things you might not end up using. I feel this can especially be the case when you are shopping online, as swatches on screen can be quite deceiving and you can’t really tell what a texture will be like without trying a product on.

Other than that I am sharing with you my usual beauty, skin care and fashion favourites for the month of April so I hope you enjoy this video, and if you do please don’t forget to subscribe to my channel.

Closet/Wardrobe Tour

My current wardrobe set up is very far from what it would ideally be for me. I like to think I am quite organised and I do have a bit of OCD, so I love everything to be stored away and out of sight, but unfortunately in my house the wardrobe space is quite limited so things aren’t as well stored as I would like them to, but I have definitely learnt how to make the most out of a small space.

In this video I wanted to show you how I store everything from bags, to shoes and clothes and also share with you some tips I have learnt along the way of how to save space and organise things so that they are accessible but still tidy.

I am also showing you some of my old and current favourites, so I hope you enjoy this video and if you please don’t forget to subscribe to my Youtube Channel.

Looking Back on 2016 – How I Started My Blog

So as it is the new year I thought today I would make balance of what 2016 has been for me.

IMG_3987.JPG

2016 has been quite a hectic year with lots of changes and some wonderful surprises along the way. My biggest risk and success this year has definitely been this blog and my Youtube channel. If you have ever read the about me section on here you may know that I worked in finance for a long time, but beauty, fashion and styling had always been a huge passion. Makeup and beauty were something I was interested ever since I was a kid, I loved to play with my mom’s lipsticks and get her to paint my nails when I was off from school. This passion continued to grow as I grew up  and I think that probably the most exciting day of my life was when I was allowed to wear proper makeup to go out for the first time. Since that day I started to hunt for every article about makeup and beauty that I could get my hands on (yes I am old and Youtube was not a thing at the time!). As I grew older I started developing more of an interest in fashion, but I have to admit I didn’t really find my own style till I was in my 20s. This is really the time I started discovering what I really liked and didn’t and what suited me and my body type. As my passion for fashion has grown I have become a lot more open to experimenting with trends always within my classic style, and the likes of Olivia Palermo (my true girl crush!) have really inspired me to try out some more adventurous looks.

Bulgari Mon Jasmine Noir | Fragrance Review

Today I have somewhat of a different post. I feel like I post a lot of makeup and skin care reviews but today I wanted to tell you about my favourite perfume, Bulgari Mon Jasmin Noir. I feel like most bloggers talk about brands like Jo Malone, Diptique and other scent specific brands, but most of us tend to purchase more mainstream brands which are easily available at airports and at Boots counters.

Bulgari is a brand which I feel is quite underrated and I don’t hear many bloggers talking or writing about it, but their scents are some of my favourites in the market and out of all of them the star for me has to be Mon Jasmin Noir.
