Today I thought I would share with you my top tips for meal planning. Meal time was always quite stressful for me, working long hours meant I didn’t have a lot of time to think about food and when meal time came round I never knew what to eat and a lot of the time I would have nothing at home, or atleast nothing that was ready to eat and that meant I ended up eating out quite a lot, and frankly quite a lot of unhealthy food.
Once I started working from home, about 2 years ago I decided this had to end, not only because I was spending so much money on eating out, I was also wasting food which I would never cook and I wasn’t really eating very healthy and thats when I started meal planning. This has really helped me eat a healthier more balanced diet as I can visually see if I am eating too much of one thing at a certain point or if I am eating out too much. It has also helped me save lots of money, waste less food and actually make meal time a lot less stressful.
