I must admit that although I love fashion, shopping actually bores me immensely especially if I am on my own, so online shopping has been the best invention in the world for me!
Although I never end up shopping much online I love browsing, because this way by the time I hit the shops I have a fairly good idea of what I am looking for and where I need to head to. So I tend to browse some of my favourite sites such as Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion, Luisa Via Roma, etc… on a regular basis to see what they have even if I am not looking to buy anything. Today I thought I would share with you some of the pieces I have spotted lately which I have my eye on.
Lets start with the stunning cuff by Saint Laurent. Its actually fairly similar to one I recently purchased and featured in this haul video, by Carolina Herrera, so I doubt I will be purchasing this, but I do think its stunning. I am getting lots of wear out of my Carolina Herrera cuff, although I have to admit it is slightly uncomfortable given it is really wide open on one side and it literally just slides off my wrist at times; But comfort aside it is stunning piece which I think elevates any outfit and given how much I love gold it goes with just about everything in my wardrobe.
In terms of jewellery something else that really caught my eye were the stunning pearl cluster earrings by Lanvin. They have gold details (as usual!) and an arrangement of smaller and larger pearls. I think they look absolutely exquisite and would definitely dress up a simple outfit making it perfect for a formal evening function. The longer shape is also great to elongate your face and slim it down and I think pearls are super flattering on any skin tone, so these are definitely a winner!
In terms of tops I am absolutely in love with the off-shoulder top by Roland Mouret. I am usually quite skeptical about tops that are off the shoulder and fall very low, because I feel like they can make your bust area look like its sagging, but the straps on this piece help the top look really flattering on the model and I absolutely love the loose unstructured pleating. I think it is definitely a very special statement piece. I would pair it with a pair of wide legged trousers in cream or white and I think it would make a stunning outfit for spring.
Another absolutely stunning piece is the striped red and white waterfall shirt by Palmer Harding. I absolutely love all of their tops but I especially liked the fabric used on this one. I think their designs are always so innovative and to be honest I have a little bit of an obsession with shirts, I don’t think I could ever have enough! Their designs just elevate the cotton poplin shirt to a whole new level and the draping and fall of their garments is just stunning. On this piece I love the belt that cinches it in at the waist so your figure doesn’t get lost and the wide cuffs make it look super on trend.
Finally for tops, the Max Mara bow blouse is an abolsute classic that will never go out of style. This one in satin looks absolutely stunning and very elegant! I would love pairing it with the wide legged trousers I have posted here by Cushnie et Ochs, in a stunning soft taupe shade. I love wide legged trousers, I think they elongate and slim down anyone’s figure, making you look almost statuesque. Unfortunately though, I think these look best with heels, and I can’t really walk in those for very long!
Boyfriend jeans, are something that have taken a very long time to grow on me and for the longest time I thought they were super unflattering, but having seen them repeatedly on Instagram with bloggers styling them with really structred blazers and heels I have definitely started to see their appeal. I think this piece by Frame is perfect if you are still slightly on the fence about this trend. They are a boyfriend style fit, and are perfect to role up and wear with some stilettos, but they are not too baggy around the hip area.
For a pop of colour this Valentino dress is absolutely stunning. I have had my eye on this for quite a while, and recently I have noticed that Net-a-Porter have stocked it in a pale pink shade, but red is still my favourite. Its a structured yet loose fitting piece, I love the A-Line silhouette and I think its a great wardrobe staple that you could cherish for years!
Finally for shoes these sandals by Pierre Hardy in a blush nude are stunning. I love the ankle strap, I think it makes them look super sexy and the rose gold metallic embellishment which runs down the centre makes the shoe a little more special and edgy without looking over the top. Also these off-white sling back pumps by Paul Andre, are great addition to any wardrobe for Spring/Summer. They are super on trend and they look very comfortable. I think they would look great with a pair of boyfriend jeans or a shirt dress.
