Face Baking | Super Long Lasting Makeup Techniques

Baking has to be one of the biggest and craziest trends of the last couple of seasons. Ever since Kim Kardashian posted a picture of herself covered in white powder on Instagram  we have all ben trying to emulate this makeup technique which claims to leave you with an absolutely flawless look. Being a big fan of Kim Kardashian’s makeup looks myself I have to admit I was tempted to try it out, but I was always worried it would end up looking a little too much in real life. However, recently when I ran out of my Anastasia Bana Powder from the Contour Makeup Kit, I purchased the much hyped Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and I decided to give baking a go, and OMG it has changed my life!

I love how flawless this technique makes your undereye area look and it also means my concealer never creases or fades and just looks flawless throughout the day. So in this video I do an in-depth tutorial of how to bake or cook and also share with you some of my favrouite tips and techniques to make your makeup last all day without budging. These techniques are great to use on an everyday basis but also fantastic if you have an event or wedding coming up!

I hope you enjoy it!
