So London seemed to be getting warmer but last weekend the chilly breeze came back and although it was quite sunny, I had to get my winter gear out again to get out into the streets. So today I have for you quite a wintery outfit, which although maybe not the most season appropriate, it has key staple pieces which I absolutely love.
Given it was quite windy outside and we were going to be walking around quite a lot, I decided to go with my trusty leather trousers. I think a pair of skinny fit leather trousers are an absolute must have and I made a video a couple of months ago showing how I pair mine, and make them appropriate for almost any occasion from bar to boardroom. I will link the video below so you can have a look if you missed it.
I got my leather trousers from Uterque, and I think its worth investing in a good pair of trousers as they are a super versatile piece perfect for the cooler months as they really do keep you very warm.
On this occasion given it was already March, I decided to pair them with a thinner top. I love this one from Mango which I got last year. Its made from a thin crepe material and I love the super sized check print in black over the off-white backround. I am not a huge fan of any sort of print, but given this is really subtle and in a classic colour combination, I love the sophisticated look it gives the top. I also love it’s flowy shape, which not only makes it super comfortable but its great to wear with a skinny pair of trousers as it really balances out your body shape.
To finish off the look I wore my fur coat which I absolutely love, as it not only keeps you super warm but it finishes any outfit perfectly doing a touch of glamour and sophistication and as I chose a few chunky gold accessories,my Gucci padlock bag and pair of black suede ankle boots.
